Grading, summary page and showing results
Grade scale, pass mark, and what respondents see and when.
Grade scale
The scale can use percentages or points. Presets: 5-point, A–F and Pass/fail only. Templates saved in your organisation also appear here.
Grade ranges must not overlap or leave gaps — errors are highlighted in red. The Example block shows how different results would be graded.
What respondents see
- Score, percentage, passed/failed and grade — each can be turned on separately.
- Answers: hidden, their own answers only, or with the correct answers.
- Question explanations.
When results are shown
- Immediately — as soon as the test ends.
- After manual grading — once essay and file answers have been graded.
- On a set date — for example, once all groups have taken the test.
- Never — the respondent sees only the closing message.
Summary page and messages
You can write a general closing message, separate messages for those who passed and failed, and redirect respondents to another address when they finish. This is also where you turn on notifications to the author and emailing results to respondents.
Certificate settings are on this step too — see Certificates.
