Four ways to create a test
Blank test, ready-made template, import from a file and generation from text.
The New test button opens a two-step dialog: first choose how to start the test, then enter the basic details.
| Method | When to use it |
|---|---|
| Blank test | You want to write the questions yourself. |
| From a template | You need a ready-made structure: a quiz, a survey or a sample test. |
| Import | Your questions are already in an Excel, CSV, Word, GIFT (Moodle) or Aiken file. |
| Generate from text (AI) | You want to draft questions from a textbook or lecture text. Available only if an administrator has enabled it. |
Basic details
- Test title — the name respondents see.
- Category — for sorting tests. A category is suggested based on the title.
- Test language — the respondent page opens in this language.
- Tags — make searching easier.
Always review AI-generated questions: the author remains responsible for correct answers and accurate religious terminology.
